NCT/DOE Preparation – Moate

The National Car Test (NCT) is a two-yearly check of standard requirements on private cars under ten years old, or annually for older cars, assessing the components which are visible and accessible.

It does not replace or claim to be a substitute for the owner’s responsibility to ensure the car is roadworthy at all times, or avoid the routine maintenance mechanics may need to carry out on the car. Any defects found must be repaired and the car must pass a re-test before the owner can be issued with an NCT Certificate.
